I was a bitch today...pure and simple. I lost my temper and I let loose...and boy did I let loose...not only in front of my fellow workers, but also in front of my boss, and my boss's boss. When I decide to loose my temper I do it up right.
It was our annual Customer Service Meeting...where we go over problems and concerns and crap like that. Well when it was my turn to talk.....I did. Boy did I ever....I was one pissed off person and I let the whole room know it. I've been fighting for weeks with my computer at work, with certain programs and yesterday I had finally had enough. It's making my work life 10 times harder than it needs to be and it pissed me off. I told everyone what I thought about it....more so than need be most likely...
At one point the comment was made "Pam isn't happy at all" and trust me I wasn't. But sometimes you have to get your point across to get anything done....and I had reach my limit. So It's going to be interesting Monday to see what happens, if I get fired or if things actually get done.
I did have to laugh at one point today...I made a remark about something and one of the ladies asked me "is anything going to make you happy today" to which I replied "NO".....she laughed and said.."I didn't think so"....Ok ok....I admit I was being a bitch...I recognize that and I own it, at least for today.
I'm home now...and smoke has stopped coming out of my ears...I'm trying to relax...and vent a little on here...don't want to pinch anybody's head off....
On a lighter note were suppose to get 4 inches of snow here tonight...and it's already sleeting outside...not sure if it's a good thing for me to be stuck in the house all weekend...My family may revolt...*ROFL*

oh boy! sounds like me elfie. Most would consider me a very patient person but when the end of my rope comes...watch out! Hope your weekend is better.
I'm hoping it's good too. It's gonna be cold for sure, we have sleet and snow falling as I type this *hugs*

It's a rainy night here in Georgia, also. My computer was 7 years old and kept shutting down right in the middle of posting my Accts Receivables so one day I just raised hell and was a real bitch. I think my boss (I've worked there 27 years) just got tired of hearing me so he yelled back, "Well get a new one!" He did not have to tell me twice.....I love my new computer and it's so fast. Sometimes you just have to let it all hang out.
Well I did let it all hang out today...more than usual...LOL It's freezing snow and sleet here right now...I'm not sticking my head out the door..LOL
You know what happens when the water inside a kettle gets hot and boiling.......it blows off steam and lets out a shrill whistle! The results of that makes a cup of tea. You've been letting it build and it got hotter and hotter until....WOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Talk about a SHRILL!!!! LOL Now the insides are calmer and the results will be seen; it will be tea, but how sweet or bitter remains to be seen. In the meantime, relax...the tea can steep until after the weekend.

I'm assuming you didn't haul off and slug somebody — LOL — but there is nothing wrong with assertively airing your problems in a meeting that is meant to handle such issues, especially after all you have had to put up with. Maybe your bosses need to sit in your (hot) seat so your computer problems get solved once and for all. [THUMB UP]

I have to agree with Martin......southern belles just seem to do the bitch thing so much more refined and ladylike. How many gals do you know who can tell you to go take a hike, make it seem like a good idea - all with a smile on their face?

That is too funny! These comments are as super as the venting! I bet you feel better already. The fact that everyone was shocked by your outburst proves that you don't do it enough. Of couse, their surpise indicates that somthing might be done to alleviate the stress that you have experienced!Here's hoping anyway.

When the water's boiling the steam flow's freely. It won't stop till it's cooled down. It's a fact of life! Somebody should have sorted out your issues before boiling point was reached. Now it's time to simmer down and enjoy your weekend. Have a good one.
