It's been one of those days at my house...it started early. I woke up this morning to my hubby getting sick in the bathroom. Not the best of ways to wake up, and it has only gotten better as the day wore on....
He's been sick over 2 weeks, been thru rounds of antibotics, and it hasn't really seemed to faze his illness at all. He went back to the Dr. Thursday, and again...more meds. She's telling him he has a sinus infection and fluid built up behind his ears. He keeps telling me that his head hurts worse than any headache he has ever had....
I think this morning was on account of a lot of meds and an empty stomach....
He hasn't been happy at all.....talking low so as not to wake him didn't help...He just fussed about low talking...
Asking him how he's feeling hasn't done much to change his attitude...he started cussing and said "How the Hell do you think I'm feeling".....so much for being nice...
When I asked if he was hungry....I won't even write what he said....
Typing earlier at the computer bothered him..."Why the hell do you have to type so hard".... I left to go to town after that one....it was either leave or strangle him...I know he feels bad....so I'm trying to be nice....I am...really....
He keeps moaning sitting there in his recliner.., but I haven't asked anymore how he's feeling...I'm afraid he might pinch my head off....and I'm trying to be nice...I'm even typing softer...
Something tells me, it's going to be a long weekend...
I've went to town 4 times already...I'm running out of excuses to leave the house...LOL

More meds? Maybe, but can't something be drained? A friend of mine with similar sounding symptoms had to do an irrigation type thing... he hated it but it worked. It can't be right that he have such intense headaches like that...but, then, you already know that so why am I pointing it out? I'm no doctor or nurse, but I guess I'm just trying to sound like one. lol
Find somebody that just happens to be free and go to a movie...that'll kill a couple of hours, maybe more if you stop anywhere afterwards. Wasn't there a new exhibit at some gallery or museum you wanted to check out? Don't you have something that you borrowed that you intended to return this weekend? I'll keep thinking if you want me to...I'm just trying to help you come up with some excuses for leaving the house.
He got some pain meds from the Doc that's helped the headaches some. Now if he could just get over this... He actually talked to me this morning...so he must feel a little better..
Sorry your hubby's been sick for so long. I imagine he's at his wit's end, as you are. Men are the worst patients......

I'm hanging on best I can. I hate seeing him so sick...it worries me..
Sinus infections are hard to shake, if that's what is going on. About the only thing that ever gets me over a bad one is a z-pack.

I keep thinking it's going to come to that. He got some pain meds from the doc for the bad headache, and it's helped a little. He told me this morning his head still feels like a balloon but the pain was dulled...and he could handle that a lot better..
Here's my hope that your sick hubby will feel better soooooon! What a pain for him (and you). He seems to have a doozy. Poor guy. I hope it doesn't come to you piling him and his recliner in the car, moving him into the doctor's office waiting room with a large note: "Help! Do something!"

Wow, that's a long time to be sick! I would be acting just like your hubby if I were in his shoes. I think a specialist should have a look. Seems like the regular doc is missing something there. Hope he gets something that works for him and SOON!

Is hubby feeling any better yet? (NO, please don't go ask him! LOL) That's gotta be tough.....I'm thinking on one of your trips to town you should buy some ear plugs for him.....then he won't hear ya typing! It's mighty hard to type on a computer quietly! I don't care how hard ya try. And I know you, you are being nice and he's just pressing the envelope on this one. Take a deep breath, go for a walk, scrub the floor...something.....we sure don't want ya going to the big house for murdering a sick man!!!

How is he feeling today? I work with someone who would get really bad sinus infections and they had to do surgery. She doesn't get them anymore and it's been over a year. I hope he is better now!
